Get Protected with LocalSIEM
LocalSIEM is a free, open-source security monitoring dashboard built by the NetShield team. It gives you real-time visibility into what’s happening on your own Mac CPU/RAM/GPU/disk usage, live network traffic, active connections with threat detection, camera/microphone privacy alerts, and more, all running locally on your machine. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
Before you install
LocalSIEM is MIT-licensed and fully open source, so you can read every line of code before you run it. We encourage that view the source on GitHub first if you’d like.
Requirements
- macOS with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4)
- Python 3.10+
- Terminal access
Note: this tool is macOS-exclusive and relies on system utilities not available on Windows or Linux.
Option 1: Quick install
Open Terminal and run:
curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sagar12-web/SIEM-Monitor/main/install.sh | bash
Option 2: Manual install
git clone https://github.com/sagar12-web/SIEM-Monitor.git
cd SIEM-Monitor
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
python3 siem_server.py
Once it’s running, open http://localhost:5555 in your browser to see your dashboard.
